Dining chair CADO 290
A truly legendary product – designed in 1966 for a Danish company CADO with start of production 1967. The worlds first ever chair – injection moulded in plastics in one piece. Displayed ao at the museum of modern arts in New York, Technical museum in Munich. Multiply price awarded ao ”the poly award of merit” by the society of Plastics industry. The chairs could be found in environments as diverse as prisons in the USA (easy to keep clean and not possible to use as a weapon) to convents where the design was considered to be “ascetic and esthetic” as well as comfortable. A new launch was done 2012 by Nielaus Denmark in a new mould – produced in PA6 from Polyemi!
